Memorizing Bible verses is hard …was hard • 2 min read

“The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters…” Psalm 23:1-2

That verse comes from my memory, implanted deeply in my heart.

“I have hidden Your word in my heart that I might not sin against You” Psalms 119:11

Currently trying to learn Matthew 4:4. I can’t remember it off the top of my head, but it mentions that we’re not supposed to live on food alone but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.

Scripture memory is one way to live on the bread that always satisfies spiritual hunger and longing

I’ve always wanted to get better at memorizing verses. But sometimes it’s just hard. It’s hard to know what verse to pick. It’s hard to focus these days. And, if I memorize a verse, there’s no longer a youth group prize to look forward to, haha.

How can I do something so beneficial for me, when my lifestyle doesn’t allow for it?

This is where I met the tool called Malachi Daily, where they send daily texts (now emails) to you about the verse of the week. Each day more and more words are replaced with underscores. And you fill in the blanks.

One verse every week. 1 minute practicing a day. And boom, another verse into memory and heart.

Try the Malachi Daily app to memorize scripture within minutes a day with community

I’m excited to memorize scripture with my LifeGroup and am thankful for the opportunity to help create the Malachi Daily app. May it be a blessing to many
